How long have you been shooting boudoir? I have been shooting boudoir on and off since 2015 but have recently built a studio here on our property in the last year so I can focus more on boudoir and helping women with self-love and confidence. I mainly photograph weddings and brides love getting boudoir albums for their soon to be husbands! So why not build a studio!

What was your favorite part about the Redroom session? My favorite part of the Redroom session is everything! But the lighting and the editing with Alaynna's custom presets that go with the set are top notch and made the sessions so fun and exciting! The presets really made the look come together.

How has being a member of the BouDIY® Group influenced your creative work and business growth? Being a member of BouDIY® has completely changed my business perspective and creative mind. It has been very inspiring from Alaynna's courses, education in the group and amazing group members that are always so helpful. Everyone is always so open to helping and answering questions, it truly is the community this industry needs.

Anything else that you'd like to include? BouDIY® is my favorite group and has been for a long time. I have learned so much from everyone in it and it has helped me grow as a photographer and person to not be afraid to get out there and create! There are sooo many talented people in the group!

How long have you been shooting boudoir? Almost 5 years

What was your favorite part about the Redroom session? It felt like a classic burlesque vibe but with a spicy edge! It helped me learn so much where my set lighting was concerned!

How has being a member of the BouDIY® Group influenced your creative work and business growth? It helps me personally break the mold of what I think I need to do or how to accomplish it! It forces me to push my mental image out of the box and try it even if it feels uncomfortable because my art deserves to grow.

How long have you been doing boudoir?  I have been doing boudoir since 2021.
What was your favorite part about the Redroom session? My favorite part of the Redroom session is how big of a wow factor it offers, while also being so easy to set up. I think it takes maybe 30 to 40 minutes to set up at the very most. The set list is also very affordable too.

I did Redroom 3 years ago in 2022 when Alaynna first launched her Uncensored Community, and I did it with the traditional red background. For my clients I called it "Hollywood Lights" to try to appeal to a wider audience, and it was so well received by my clients!

This year I launched it again and revamped it. I used a pink backdrop instead of the red. I also added disco balls, and I titled it my "Disco Dolls" set. Clients can use my client closet or bring in any outfit they want! One client brought in a schoolgirl outfit, and bubble gum and it really popped with the background and editing. In other photos we added roller skates and that really was a cool combo with the disco balls too!

I think one of the other things I like about Redroom is that it is so easy to revamp and market differently. Small variations can give it a totally different feel so it can be a yearly, or every other year, go-to set for my business.

How has being a member of the BouDIY® Group influenced your creative work and business growth? Even though I am an artist as a photographer, I don't always consider myself particularly creative. I can get into a pretty methodical mindset. Being a member of BouDIY® has really helped inspire my creativity. The BouDIY® tutorials really give me that step by step process that my methodical brain likes, but then I have the freedom to tap into creativity and play. It's been a game changer for me and it has really helped me connect to that creative side that I struggle with sometimes.

Anything else that you'd like to include? I can't wait to do more tutorials this year!

How long have you been shooting boudoir? Since October 2021.
What was your favorite part about the Redroom sessionAt the time I was working a full-time job doing Boudoir on the side and I have to say my favorite part of Redroom was how I got to bring this concept to life without using too much energy or brain power since I didn't have much left after working all day. It was affordable to create when I was just getting started and everything was laid out down to the supply list! It felt so achievable, and I loved realizing I could do something different and creative while also bringing in clients and making money with it. Each client and model who participated in this set not only loved their images but expressed how huge of a positive impact these sessions were for their self-confidence and relationship (couples' sessions), they all left reviews in my VIP group too!
How has being a member of the BouDIY® Group influenced your creative work and business growth? The group has made me feel like I’m on an artist's journey and not alone in the struggles. It’s encouraged me to try new ideas without fear of being judged or “failing”. The concepts I have learned have helped me become a better artist and photographer and led to client bookings in part to sets I’ve been inspired to create and learned from BouDIY®.
Anything else that you'd like to include? Alaynna is the real deal! Her empathetic heart and genuine desire to help you whether it’s building sets, your mindset, or marketing is felt through every interaction! Being an entrepreneur is hard and lonely at times but the way herself and the community make you feel welcome and normal is a gift that brings hope and light especially in the dark moments when we’re too hard on ourselves and don't feel as creative.
