Artist Feature: Nudescapes®
Jan 28, 2026Let's give a big ass warm welcome to this weeks featured member, Boudoir Photographer Jenn Bell!
Jenn didn’t come into Nudescapes® chasing better poses or prettier sets. She came in looking for a way to see what she was creating—while she was creating it. What happened next didn’t just change how her images looked. It changed what her clients saw when they looked at themselves.
This isn’t a “before and after” story. This is a shift story.
Read this one slow. There’s a lot hiding between the lines!

As an artist, I've dabbled in various mediums throughout the years. From watercolor to oil, sewing to cake decorating, I've tried it all. But it was in 2020, amidst the chaos of motherhood, that I discovered the art of photography. It became my sanctuary, the one project my adorable chaos-makers couldn't mess up in the process.
But why boudoir, you might ask? Well, let's just say it was a desperate attempt to reconnect with my own womanhood and find my identity again. Don't get me wrong, I adore children and everything they bring into our lives. However, somewhere along the journey of motherhood, I lost sight of who I was as a woman.
And that's when it hit me, I wanted to help other women reclaim their sensuality, embrace their bodies, and reignite that inner flame. I want to help confident women capture themselves completely. I want to help expecting mothers capture the beauty in their changing bodies.

What made you decide to take Nudescapes®? I really wanted to level up my lighting game but other educators just don't do things in a digestible manner. I knew after taking the Struggle Bus Course that I had to do this one. It is by far the best written most thorough course I have ever taken.
What were you struggling with before starting? Honestly, I was having a hard time getting the hang of flash. This didn't cover it explicitly, but it gave me the reason they WHY for digging in and figuring it the heck out. All the way.
What clicked for you during the course? The whole course was really and ah ha moment.
How did Nudescapes® change the way you shoot or see the human body? It didn't change the way I see human form, but it has completely changed the way I see every creative concept. I have applied this method so much to maternity and Sports photography as well.
How did you feel creatively before vs. after taking the course? I no longer have any hesitation to shoot everything with flash. Again, not necessary and not what this course was designed around, you don't need to own a flash to do it, but it is so easy and controlled that it brought the entire lighting world full circle for me.
What kind of results have you seen since? Bookings, people are booking based on these shots alone!
How did your clients react to their Nudescapes® images? They always have a jaw dropping response. 100% of the time. This is so raw, they are the art. Most of my work is lifestyle and there is "stuff" set clutter that helps pad the frame for women who are insecure. When I throw them in this light at the end "for fun" they see the images and know that it is all them that rocked the photoshoot. That they alone are the art. That they alone are enough. Not the pretty sets, them!

Have you displayed or sold any of your Nudescapes® work? Yes, literally all the wall art has been nonescape in nature. I don't have photos of that, but I will take a snapshot of a sample album in the studio.
What surprised you most about taking this course? No, honestly, I fully expected it to be epic and the results to be epic based on other courses I have taken on BOUDIY®. The bar was high and this course did not disappoint.
What kind of results or wins have you seen since taking Nudescapes®? You name it I have grown in all areas as a result of this course. Bookings have been made, sales have been upgraded, creative growth even into other genere. I don't think it is possible not to have a return on your investment from this course.
What would you tell another photographer who’s nervous to try Nudescapes® or doesn’t think they’re ready? Just do it. You don't need to be ready. The course gets you ready.

Jenn’s last line already answers all of the questions you were wondering:
“You don’t need to be ready. The course gets you ready.”
and really, that’s the part I care about the most.
Not because it’s a nice quote—but because it points to the real shift that she’s experiencing the whole way through—the confidence to stop hiding behind default poses, to stop shooting just to shoot, and to trust (and capture) what you see in real time when the light hits the body just right.
and if this sounds like you and you’re tired of making images that are "good enough" instead of images that say something, take a look through Nudescapes® and see what happens when you push a little further.
